Signature Prints launches the new Glamour Wallpaper Collection

As custodians of the extraordinary Florence Broadhurst library of designs, Signature Prints takes the utmost care to ensure that all Florence Broadhurst wallpaper and fabric collections represent the very best in high end design.

The Glamour Wallpaper Collection marks the 2008 release of eight Florence Broadhurst designs, unseen since the 1970's. The designs featured are: Peacock Feathers, Paris, Heraldic, Cockatoos, Roman Soldiers, Romanesque, Birds of Paradise and Large Brushed Trellis.

The diversity of prints selected for this collection capture the excellence of Florence 's designs. ‘Paris' and ‘Romanesque' balance stylised intricacies with sophisticated restraint while the scale and opulence of Cockatoos, Brushed Trellis, Heraldic and Birds of Paradise represent the bold graphics that Florence was known for.

However it is Signature Prints re-release of these designs that makes this collection so spectacular. Using only Mylar wallpapers, the collection embodies luxury. Brushed golds, silvers and bronzes balance with reflective metallics and our innovative new inks play with light and capture the eye.

These colourations mark a world exclusive – a brand new way for the design industry to play with colour. Pigments are translucent, iridescent, reflective and crystallized. The relationship between the surface finish and the interior becomes undefined and three dimensional as the wallpapers play with light.

The reflective nature of this collection enables great versatility upon instillation. The wallpapers can be lit so that they reflect the surrounding interior or a wash of light. The print colour of many of the papers in this collection also changes depending on the light.

Like all of the wallpapers and fabrics in our ranges, the designs and colourations shown in this collection can be customised.

All wallpapers by Signature Prints are printed with water-based inks using traditional hand silk-screen printing technology.
