The editor of Australia's Vogue Living magazine, David Clark, chose Florence Broadhurst wallpaper from Signature Prints to decorate a stunning penthouse apartment. The 15th floor eyrie is part of the St Margaret's Urban Village in Sydney's funky inner-city suburb of Surry Hills. David took on the dream job of selecting hundreds of thousands of dollars of the best furniture, fabrics and lighting in order to promote the apartment that is expected to fetch AUD $4.4 million, fully furnished. Given a free reign and assisted by magazine contributor Danika Jones, he decided that his role was to 'curate' its decoration. The magazine describes the end result as 'glamorous, eclectic and quirky' and 'inspirational for anyone interested in decoration and interiors'. Florence Broadhurst wallpaper has been used for the entry foyer of the 15th floor apartment, with its breathtaking views over Sydney's leafy eastern suburbs, the bridge and harbour, and the central business district. An unusual aspect is that wallpaper covers the back of the door into the apartment, so that when it is closed the wallpaper appears to cover the entire wall. The project was overseen by Anne Manolas of Signature Prints, who found David and Danika 'very, very lovely to work with, and easygoing considering the it was such a mammoth project to complete in such a short time, and they were dealing with a large number of suppliers'.
